Marsupilami, Imbattable, Blake and Mortimer, Cédric, Lucky Luke, Le chat, Spirou and Fantasio... all these characters and fantasies worlds are summoned together to celebrate the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights and the SPIROU Journal are joining forces for a "#spirou4rights" exhibition dedicated to human rights and the Declaration. The comic strip’s great talents illustrate the 30 articles of the Universal Declaration on serious and essential subjects with humour and emotion.
The exhibition "#spirou4rights", includes 17 panels made from drawing boards from a special issue of SPIROU in order to give everyone the opportunity to know and understand the universal values written in the Declaration
Inaugurated at the beginning of October 2018 at the UN headquarters in Geneva, this exhibition is presented in the Alliances Françaises in partnership with the Fondation Alliance Française, the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner and Dupuis Publishing.
The Alliance Française Montpellier opens its doors and invites you to reflect on the declaration of human rights around the comic strip, a universal media that addresses serious and important subjects with humour and emotion.
