Intensive Plus: French Language and Culture
Objectives:
- Make rapid progress and perfect your ability to express, understand and communicate in general French in everyday situations thanks to our intensive French group course, 20 lessons per week, at the Alliance Francaise Montpellier.
- Reinforce your French language skills with additional French workshops -6 extra individualized lessons of French to adress tour specific needs. Activities, contents and objectives are adapted to each participant learning French.
- The language improvement workshops complement the intensive general French courses and allow specific individual work to reinforce your skills in oral and written comprehension, oral and written expression, phonetics and grammar.
The program in brief :
Organisation:
- General French course of 20 lessons in small groups of 5 to 12 participants moderated by a teacher (up to 15 participants in summer)
- Language development workshops in very small groups of 3 to 8 participants (up to 10 participants in the summer):
- Workshops of 6 lessons per week are organised in 3 sessions of 2 lessons. The skills of written comprehension, oral comprehension and written expression are the subject of individual work in autonomy (2 sessions). Oral expression and phonetics (1 session) are worked on in a small group animated by your teacher.

The Intensive Plus course will help you make rapid progress. If you want total immersion in the French language and culture, why not opt to stay in a family home with half-board? That way, you’ll be speaking French all day, every day, with guaranteed results!
Practical information
Levels: elementary to advanced - from A2 to C1 according to the levels of the European Framework of Reference for Languages.This programme is not accessible to beginners.
Rhythm : 26 lessons per week (1 lesson = 45 minutes)
Class size: from 5 to 12 participants (up to 15 in summer)
Duration: 1 to 48 weeks (weekly, monthly or semi-annual sessions)
Calendar: Starting dates: every Monday from January to December.
Timetable: 20 general French lessons in the morning from Monday to Friday from 9.00am to 12.00pm or in the afternoon from 2.00pm to 5.00pm.
+ 6 lessons of language improvement according to your objectives and your level on tuesdays, wednesdays and thursdays from 12.15pm to 1.45pm (4 lessons prepared by your teacher take place independently and 2 lessons of oral expression are led by your teacher).
